There are currently more than 43,000 public charging stations and about 120,000 charging ports in the U.S. Through a partnership with Electrify America - a public charging initiative of Volkswagen How long does it take to charge the EQS? According to Mercedes, charging the EQS with a 240-volt connection takes a little more than 11 hours, and that's to recoup a full charge from 10% capacity (it's recommended to never let an EV battery drain completely). With DC Fast Charging, you can go from a 10% charge to 80% in 31 minutes, per Mercedes estimates. Level 3 Charging is capable of replenishing 186 miles of range in 15 minutes. With its odometer now hovering around 38,081, it is STILL COVERED under the balance of its New Vehicle Limited Warranty warranties until August 2026 or 50,000 miles (whichever occurs first)! It also has plenty of advanced driver aids, including: Forward collision mitigation (warns you of an impending collision and applies the brakes in certain scenarios) Adaptive cruise control (maintains a driver-set distance between the Mercedes and the car in front) Surround-view camera system (gives you a top-down view of the EQS and its surroundings for tight parking situations) Lane keeping assist (steers the EQS back into its lane if it begins to drift over the lane marker) Blind-Spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert (warns you if a vehicle is in your blind spot during a lane change or while in reverse) Automated parking system (steers into a parking spot with little or no driver intervention) Evasive steering assist (enhances the forward collision mitigation system with steering-based collision avoidance) The 580 4MATIC trim has dual motors and all-wheel drive that combine to produce 516 hp and 631 lb-ft. The EPA says it will travel 340 miles on a charge, but Edmunds achieved 381 miles, so anywhere in the range is feasible.
